Among its objectives are reinforcing the role of the U.S. dollar, modernizing Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) rules for the digital assets ecosystem, and ensuring fairness and predictability by establishing clear regulatory oversight.
